I'm finishing up Drown Deep, book 2 in The Blood Scouts series, which is a military fantasy set in a WWI-era secondary world, where the main character is the leader of an all-female squad.
And I've been slowly making my way through Words of Radiance (Stormlight Archive book 2), although I haven't read it in a few weeks.
I got my NYCC tickets last week so I'll hopefully see you there!
I'm waiting to hear back about my NYCC Pro registration for this year, but I plan on going for at least a day or two regardless so I'll hopefully see you there!
Thanks for sharing the books you're reading. I added a bunch to my TBR pile. I recently read Rolling in the Deep by Mira Grant, which was a great novella about a doomed ship out to film a pseudo-documentary about mermaids and they find something far more horrifying. I got sucked back into Animorphs, a series of YA novels from when I was a kid. I've been enjoying them as snack-sized audio books. I need to take a break from them to check out some other titles.

Oh, I like the idea of an alternate WWI.
Excited for NYCC!

Rolling in the Deep sounds really cool! I need to check that out.
