Hey Adrian,

Great unpack super helpful and congratulations!! So awesome.

How many backers did you get from your list building activities: FB ads=>email list=>automation sequences=> kickstarter pledge?

Also when do you find they typically pledge in the context of the campaign? And what is your typical performance here?

Thanks so much!

Hey Ben,

I didn't do much by way of Meta ads this time out. I boosted an Instagram post a couple of times, but have zero data of anyone backing based on that alone. I've found Meta ads do not perform well for Kickstarter campaigns as they do not run nearly long enough to find the right audience.

The Backerkit slide would give you the answer about my email list. Aside from the couple of backers who came from this Substack, my email list is engaged primarily via Backerkit.

I have no automation setup.

Since the Backerkit list are the only backers I actively court, I can say they usually back either at the beginning of the campaign of that final 36 hours - as these are the only times I engage them.

Results were typical this time out, in terms of email list. The overall results were much higher than usual, which you can find on the first slide.

Hope this helps!
