I too just hit 39, end of April, and brought with it some reflection. I think it’s always a good time to do a priority reset. As someone who never sets a New Year’s resolution, but does set a motivator/theme for the new year, I always find value in reflecting and looking ahead! Thanks for sharing dude.

As someone who turned 40 2 years ago and who also began writing in the past decade, this post really hit home! Keeping things in perspective like you are doing is super important.

It's hard sometimes when you see all the 20-year-olds finding success out the gate, but I think the best writers are the ones that have lived a bit of life before trying to tell their story.

Happy Birthday, Adriano! I think we all go through that question about careers and making it big around birthdays and the start of the new year. Didn't Jack Kirby only really break out when he was in his 40s? Still plenty of time to make great comics!
