Another fantastic post-mortem, thank you!

1) Excellent insights about offset printing. I've always wanted to try it (mainly so I can get more "real" feeling prints) but can't justify it yet.

2) It's soooo frustrating having backers who don't fill out their info. On the one hand you're super grateful for each and every backer, but on the other hand, as you said, it can lead to a handful of people putting you a position that is pretty darn annoying where you can never mentally "complete" the campaign. Here's hoping those folks give you their info so you can send them their stuff soon!

3) I'm still hesitant to use BackerKit mostly because I know not all my backers are hardcore Kickstarter people and I don't want to force them to interact with another site/login. Also the amount of backers I have now is relatively low so I can just track things by hand, but maybe some day it will be necessary.

Excited for your upcoming releases!

I too was on the fence about Backerkit in the beginning.

However, I've got about 14 different variants of 3 books, plus stickers, magnets, coasters and bookmarks to sort - along with digital copies. All with different combinations.

Backerkit's pledge manager really starts to show its value at that point.

(Plus, I had backers who added on more during the survey, so it was a bonus.)

Yeah, I totally get that. For my stuff I've got far less tiers with far less complexity, but I can see how at some point it becomes necessary.

Have you checked out Comic Impressions for printing? Even with shipping to Canada, they are somehow still cheaper than Mixam and quality is good!

I haven't! I'm always worried about cross-border stuff. I've heard way too many horror stories.

I may have to try them one day.
