It’s Canada Day here in the Great White North and an early Happy 4th to those down South too!
Since it’s the long weekend, I’ll keep this update as some light reading - but I have lots to show you!
Kicking Off Stay Cool!
The prelaunch page for Stay Cool is live!
Give the project a follow!
Now let’s review how Unlimited Udo went…
Wrapped Up Nicely
The final stages of the campaign went smoothly.
The prints came in and looked fantastic - making Valentin’s art pop even more than on a backlit screen.
Everyone was prompt with their surveys, allowing me to ship out to everyone at once with nearly no delay.
Thanks to that, we were able to get them packaged quickly.
I’m happy to share specifics about anything (printers, packing material, mail services) if that’s something everyone is interested, but I’ll spare you right now.
All said, I couldn’t be happier with how the first campaign has gone.
It’s the start of something great…
But that’s not the end for Unlimited Udo.
Missed the Unlimited Udo campaign?
We’ve setup a storefront page on Crowdfundr!
Though it doesn’t have the bundle deals, or the deluxe digital copy, that the Kickstarter campaign had. (Exclusive means exclusive, after all.)
It does have all three copies of the comic plus a downloadable version of the high-res PDF and CBR files. And the stickers, of course.
One more option for digital folks: If you have a subscription to GlobalComix!
You can get a PDF from here too (though not as high-res as the one you’d get direct from me on Crowdfundr).
I was considering Comixology - but that whole system has become so untenable that I decided to forgo it for this (and future) campaigns. It’s a real shame, because I was really into that system.
In fact, we’ll talk more about that just how deep down the digital comics rabbit hole I really am next time…

They Call Me Superbacker
I’ve backed a lot of campaigns in recent years - plus have an entire stash of indie comics on Comixology.
There’s a whole system I have to keep it all in order. Let’s take a look at it.

Writing Process: Spreadsheet Mania
Let’s dive into the very unartistic way I get my artistic writing process started.
